Stay at your own risk! Liked: the room itself is fine. It isn't dirty or smelly, and the bed is as comfortable as you would expect for a sub-par budget motel. I have no complaints about the room condition. Disliked: Shockingly Hostile Front Desk, Rooms are Just Okay. Honestly that's the only reason I give it any Stars. I booked a room here nearly a month in advance (on May 17th), but when I arrived to check in, the lady at the front desk was incredibly unpleasant and rude.. She didn’t even greet me with a basic "hello." When I told her I had a reservation, she bluntly told me I didn’t and claimed she had no new bookings. After a back-and-forth she found my reservation, she raised her voice at me and aggressively demanded to know if we were smokers. I told her that my personal habits were completely irrelevant because I know the rules and I wasn't there to smoke, im here for a ongoing medical issue and doctors appointment, but she wouldn't drop the attitude. She then charged a $150 deposit and snapped that if the room "even smells like smoke a little," I wouldn't get a refund. She literally hand-wrote "If smell smoke—No Refund" across the bottom of my official receipt (see attached photo). Treating paying guests like criminals the second they walk through the door is completely unacceptable and wildly unprofessional. However, because of the hostile, screaming interrogation at the front desk and the bizarre customer service, I will never stay here again. Travel is stressful enough without being yelled at by the staff before you even get your key. The sleep was noisy. When we got up at 7 to check out there were not 1 or 2 but 8 cop cars in the parking lot with 2 people smoking up on the balcony on property after I specifically was told if I was smoking I'd be in trouble. The man who checked us out was great and apologetic. But I want a full written apology from that miserable woman. Unacceptable behavior. You're worried about smoking when I woke up to 8 cops in the lot. Unbelievable.
